Sophie Musins FCCA
Director & Owner
Sophie is a Chartered Certified Accountant and has been part of Peregrine since 2016, growing with the firm throughout her career in practice. She enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and understanding the people behind each business so she can tailor advice around their goals. Sophie particularly enjoys helping owner-managed businesses grow, spotting opportunities to save tax, and solving problems so clients can make confident, well-informed decisions. Her style is friendly, practical and down to earth, focused on advice clients can genuinely use.
Outside of work, Sophie lives with her partner and their two daughters. As a family they share a love of golf and are determined to persuade her to join them on the course one day.
Rebecca Williams FCCA
Director & Owner
Rebecca is a Chartered Certified Accountant with over 20 years’ experience. Before qualifying, she worked in the haulage industry, giving her a strong commercial understanding of how businesses operate day to day. She is known for her expertise in tax planning and problem solving, helping clients navigate complex financial matters with clarity and confidence.
Rebecca works with a wide range of industries and prides herself on giving honest, straight-talking advice clients can rely on. Her approach is pragmatic, approachable and focused on delivering guidance that makes a real difference.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find Rebecca in a field running competitive agility courses with her dogs, Trudy and Mabel, swapping spreadsheets for stopwatches.
Phil Willcox Ba (Hons), ACCA
Senior Accountant
Phil has been in the profession since 2008, he became MAAT in 2014 and went on to qualify as a Chartered certified Accountant in 2019.
Having worked at Peregrine since September 2013, he has built up strong experience across all areas of the business, from payroll through to accounts and taxation. He works closely with a wide range of clients and brings a practical, hands-on approach to supporting them with their day-to-day needs as well as longer-term planning.
He is highly experienced with most accountancy and bookkeeping software, enabling him to assist clients efficiently across a variety of systems and requirements.
He is a fan of sports, most notably F1 and football, as well as gaming, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Haydn Suffern
Semi Senior Accountant
Haydn mainly works in accounts and tax preparation and also oversees VAT and bookkeeping to produce management accounts. This helps ensure clients receive clear, accurate information that gives them a true picture of how their business is performing. He is currently studying towards his ACCA exams to further develop his technical knowledge and expertise.
Outside of work, he’s an easy-going person who loves joking around, spending time with his family and staying active. He enjoys watching football, playing golf and padel, and is a proud golden retriever owner. His dog Lola joins him in the office once a week—so if you’re a dog lover and planning a visit, make it a Tuesday.
Dawn
Semi Senior Accountant
Dawn is an ACCA part-qualified accountant with almost 20 years’ experience running her own company before moving into practice at Peregrine. This background gives her a strong commercial perspective and a practical, first-hand understanding of the challenges faced by owner-managed businesses.
Her work includes overseeing VAT return preparation, producing accurate and timely management accounts, preparing company year-end accounts, and completing personal tax returns. She takes a proactive approach to tax planning, with a clear focus on legitimately minimising tax liabilities while remaining fully compliant with current legislation.
Outside of work, she is in the midst of renovating a Grade II listed property and can usually be found juggling husky walks and horse duties — keeping her organisational skills and problem-solving abilities well practised.
Ed
Trainee Accountant
Ed is the newest member of the Peregrine team and is currently working towards completing his final level of the AAT qualification. His day-to-day role mainly involves running payroll, bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns, where he enjoys helping clients keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Outside of work, Ed has recently got married and is enjoying settling into this new chapter of life.
Jenny
Office Administrator
Jenny is our Office Administrator and a key part of keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She supports the team with day-to-day administration and helps make sure our clients and colleagues are looked after efficiently and professionally.
Friendly and organised, Jenny brings a calm, approachable presence to the office and is always happy to help. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, getting creative with arts and crafts, and heading out for long walks in the countryside.
Lola Suffern
Office dog
This is Lola. She’s a warm, loving, happy dog who adores cuddles, attention, and—most of all—tennis balls! She brings so much positivity to the office with her permanent smile, and even though she’s only in once a week, she somehow walks away with employee of the month, every month!
